Case Study

As part of the upgrade process at their Bayswater plant, Paccar Australia contracted Custom Automation to provide a new lifting system for completed Kenworth trucks at the drive-off station.

The team at Custom Automation managed every step of the process; from pit construction, design, construction, installation and commissioning.

In order to meet the needs of the client, Custom Automation designed a set of four synchronised hydraulic platforms, the larger two of which span 3 x 0.6 m. Each individual lift is able to take the full 6.25 tonne specified weight as a point load, and have 590mm of vertical travel.

These lifts were installed into a pit that was then covered with infill platforms rated to the full 6.25 tonne load.
